The Legal Intern will support the Legal Department in legal research, documentation, contract review, case management, and corporate compliance. The role offers practical exposure to Bangladeshi laws, commercial agreements, litigation records, and land and property documentation under the supervision of experienced legal professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Legal Documentation: Organizing and maintaining agreements, deeds, contracts, and other legal documents.
2. Case Management: Maintaining litigation records, case status reports, hearing dates, and court-related documents.
3. Contract Management: Assisting in the preparation and review of commercial agreements, vendor contracts, lease agreements, and other legal instruments.
4. Corporate Legal Support: Assisting with company-related legal documentation, board resolutions, and corporate records under appropriate supervision.
5. Land and Property Matters: Organizing land deeds, mutation records, khatians, and other property-related documents.
6. Legal Research: Researching applicable laws, regulations, judgments, and legal precedents.
7. Compliance Support: Assisting in maintaining statutory compliance records and regulatory documentation.
8. Reporting: Preparing periodic reports on pending cases, legal notices, agreements, and other assigned matters
Eligibility:
Educational Requirements
1.Recently graduated from, an LL.B. (Honours) or LL.B. programme from a recognized university.
2.Students pursuing an LL.M. will also be eligible.
3.Basic knowledge of Bangladeshi laws and corporate legal matters.
4.Academic knowledge of the NI Act, Contract Act, 1872, and other relevant laws will be an advantage.
Required Skills :

Preparing notices, letters, agreements, and legal summaries.
Maintaining legal records and documentation.
Good written and verbal communication in Bangla and English.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and email.
