Gained practical, cross-departmental exposure to the denim manufacturing process, from yarn preparation through finished fabric, across the following areas: Ball Warping: prepared warp yarn, performed sheet formation, and controlled tension prior to dyeing. Dyeing: applied warp dyeing processes, shade control, chemical/dye application, and oxidation to achieve uniform color and shade depth. Long Chain Beamer (LCB): converted dyed yarn from rope to sheet form and prepared warp beams for sizing. Sizing: applied sizing materials to increase yarn strength, reduce hairiness, and improve weaving performance. Weaving: studied loom operation and fabric formation while monitoring production efficiency and quality. Finishing: controlled fabric shrinkage, skewness, and bowing to ensure dimensional stability and quality. R&D: supported fabric development, sample analysis, and process improvement for new denim qualities. Also gained exposure to Fabric Inspection, R&D Laboratory, QA Laboratory, and the Washing Section.
