I am a Journalism and Media Studies graduate from Jahangirnagar University with a strong interest in journalism, documentary filmmaking, visual storytelling, and social-impact communication. My academic background has given me a foundation in research, reporting, media analysis, and storytelling, while my practical experiences have taught me how to turn ideas and information into engaging visual and written narratives.
I have experience working in television journalism, where I developed skills in news reporting, writing, research, fact-checking, and communicating stories under real-world deadlines. Alongside journalism, I have explored creative media through short-film direction, photography, visual storytelling, and advertising projects. These experiences have strengthened my interest in filmmaking—not simply as a creative profession, but as a way of documenting people, places, emotions, and social realities that often remain unnoticed.
My creative interests are particularly drawn to everyday human experiences and social issues. I am fascinated by the contrast between the struggles and resilience of ordinary people, the changing character of urban life, and the stories that exist behind seemingly ordinary moments. Through photography and filmmaking, I want to observe these realities closely and present them with honesty, sensitivity, and a strong visual perspective.
At this stage of my career, I am focused on developing myself as a documentary filmmaker and visual storyteller while continuing to build professional experience in journalism, media, and communications. I am eager to collaborate on meaningful projects, learn from experienced professionals, and challenge myself creatively.
Ultimately, I want to create films and visual stories that do more than capture images, they should make people pause, observe, question, and connect with the lives and realities of others.

As a Reporter at Bayanno TV, I worked in a fast-paced television newsroom environment, covering daily news and developing stories for broadcast. My responsibilities included identifying newsworthy events, gathering information from reliable sources, conducting interviews, verifying facts, and preparing news reports within tight deadlines.
I reported on a range of current affairs and public-interest issues, communicating with relevant officials, eyewitnesses, and other sources to collect accurate and timely information. I was involved in the process of developing stories from initial information gathering through reporting and news writing, while ensuring that facts were properly checked before publication or broadcast.
The role strengthened my practical understanding of television journalism and newsroom workflows. It also helped me develop stronger skills in field reporting, interviewing, news writing, research, fact-checking, source verification, and working under deadline pressure. As a Campus Correspondent at Amader Somoy, I reported on news and events from my university campus, covering a range of academic, student, administrative, and social issues. My responsibilities included gathering information, interviewing students and relevant sources, verifying facts, and writing news reports for publication.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, I also explored feature-oriented reporting, particularly stories related to biodiversity and the natural environment. I worked on stories examining changes in biodiversity and environmental conditions during the pandemic, developing my ability to look beyond routine news and identify broader social and environmental narratives within current events.
Alongside these feature stories, I regularly contributed daily campus news, developing practical experience in reporting under deadlines and adapting stories for a professional newsroom. The role strengthened my skills in news writing, interviewing, research, fact-checking, source verification, and identifying newsworthy angles from everyday campus life.
