Same tomato. Twenty taka in Khilgaon. Fifty taka in Banani. Same open-air market.

Same vendor. Same produce. Just a different postcode.

For my ECO311 Economic Growth & Development assignment at BRAC University, I hit the streets of Dhaka to investigate food price inequality across two very different neighbourhoods and what I found goes much deeper than just vegetables.
