A deep learning-based system for classifying brain tumors from MRI images using hybrid CNN models and a Streamlit web application.
I worked on a deep learning-based brain tumor classification project using a real hospital dataset containing 4,642 MRI images across four classes: glioma, meningioma, no_tumor, and pituitary. The project involved developing and evaluating six hybrid CNN models using deep learning approaches. InceptionResNetV2 achieved the best performance with 98.71% accuracy. I also developed a Streamlit web application that allows users to upload MRI images for classification. Through this project, I gained practical experience in deep learning, medical image classification, model evaluation, and building an AI-based web application.
